Jonathan Huberdeau over 1.5 points (+110)
This is bound to be a very high-scoring game between 2 of the best offensive cores in the league. Jonathan Huberdeau will likely continue his offensive dominance tonight and extend his point streak. He’s currently on a 3-game point streak, but more importantly, in his last 12 games, he’s recorded 7 multi-point nights. He’s been one of the best players in the league this season and has shown no signs of slowing down.
In Huberdeau’s most recent game, he recorded 3 points. This is the first time the Panthers and Jets have faced off in more than 2 years, so there is an element of the unknown, but Huberdeau recording points has been a near constant this season. Both teams are looking to get back into the win column, so expect a shootout tonight. The Panthers are averaging 4 goals per game, and Huberdeau is a big reason for that. Take him to record over 1.5 points tonight — he’s been playing incredibly well as of late.

Connor McDavid over 1.5 points (-111)
Tonight could prove to be a “get right” game for McDavid and the Oilers. Last season in the North Division, McDavid terrorized the Canucks all season, recording 22 points in 10 games. He was absolutely dominant facing this team, and now that Vancouver has found themselves on a 2-game losing streak, McDavid is poised to have a great night offensively. Despite the Oilers’ struggles, McDavid is still far and away the best player in the world. His frustration has started to boil over, but if he can compose himself for tonight, 2 points should be easy for him. He’s coming off of a 2-point performance and is looking to repeat that here tonight. The Canucks are missing some key players right now due to injury and Covid protocols, so McDavid could find himself in much easier matchups tonight.
The Oilers are scrambling to succeed this season and room for error is running thin. If McDavid is going to bring his team to another victory, he’s going to need to show up. Take him to record over 1.5 points tonight.
