Andrei Svechnikov over 0.5 goals (+187)
Svechnikov has had three goals in his last four games. He is second in goals this season for the Hurricanes, which is tough to do considering the number of great players they have. In his most recent game against the Bruins, he totaled a goal and an assist in a 7-1 victory. Expect him to have another good night against Boston, a team that hasn’t been playing their best hockey as of late.
With at least a goal in three of his last four games, you can tell that Svechnikov is rounding into midseason form and has been playing some great hockey. Playing on the second line will grant him easier matchups, and with Brad Marchand ruled out tonight for the Bruins, the Hurricanes’ second line should have a dominant night. The Bruins will likely load up on their top line to defend Sebastian Aho, which will open the ice for Svechnikov in much easier matchups. At +187 odds, bettors are getting great value for a natural goal scorer who has looked great this last week. Take him to record over 0.5 goals tonight.

Mitch Marner over 0.5 goals (+187)
If Mitch Marner keeps scoring, bettors should keep tailing him. Oddsmakers have undervalued Marner’s goalscoring prop since he began this run — if you’ve tailed every game you’re likely up a large amount right now. Marner is currently on an eight-game goalscoring streak, and has 10 goals in eight games. He has been dominant during this stretch and at +187, bettors are getting incredible value. After a close call with a head injury, Auston Matthews is expected to play tonight and center the first line with Mitch Marner. Expect these two to continue with their excellent play. Because of how they’ve performed, the Leafs are on a six-game winning streak and have won eight of their last 10 games.
Don’t overthink this player prop — Marner has been automatic in his last eight games. This is the best goalscoring streak he’s been on in his entire career. Until he doesn’t score, bettors should take this prop moving forward. Take him to record over 0.5 goals tonight.
