Alex DeBrincat over 0.5 goals (+145)
Alex DeBrincat has remained one of the few bright spots for the Blackhawks this season. He’s just under a point per game, but his goalscoring has been some of the best in the NHL. He has 29 goals in 51 games and will be looking to hit the 30 mark this afternoon. It’ll be a tough task for the Blackhawks to defeat the Panthers, but if they have any chance they’ll need offensive contributions from their best goalscorer. DeBrincat has scored in 3 of his last 5 games. He’s coming off a game in which he recorded no goals but had 7 shots on the net, so he’s finding opportunities, and today one should drop for him. The Panthers are an excellent team, but they aren’t that responsible defensively. They’re allowing 2.86 goals per game, which is worse than the league average. If the Hawks are to have any chance, they’ll need DeBrincat and Patrick Kane to have a good performance. Take DeBrincat to record over 0.5 goals.

Chris Kreider over 0.5 goals (+120)
The Rangers’ Chris Kreider is tied for 2nd in the NHL with 33 goals this season. He’s a natural goalscorer with a lot of speed, and this evening against the Ottawa Senators he can grab another goal. Kreider has slowed down his goalscoring pace, with only 2 goals in his last 4 games, but now that he’s no longer leading the league in goals he has some added motivation to score. For the last 2 months. Kreider was leading the league in goals comfortably, and if he wants to remain in the conversation for most goals scored after 82 games, he’ll bring his A-game. That Kreider and the Rangers are playing the Senators tonight is good news for bettors. Goaltender Filip Gustavsson is starting in net for the Sens and he’s allowing 3.79 goals per game. Take Kreider to record a goal.
