Patrick Kane over 0.5 goals (+205)

Patrick Kane is 3rd on the Blackhawks in goals with 16 on the season. However, he is starting to heat up as we approach the end of the month. With only 11 goals heading into Valentine’s Day, he has taken his last 5 games by storm and now scored 5 goals in his during that 5-game stretch.

Even though Kane is known more for his playmaking abilities, as he leads the Blackhawks in points due to his 37 assists, his recent goal scoring trend is too good to pass up. The sportsbooks are still favoring Kane’s ability to get assists, which means there is value in betting Kane to continue to score goals. Look for Kane to continue his scoring ways with at least one on Sunday.

Sebastian Aho over 0.5 goals (+158)

Sebastian Aho has only 3 goals in 9 games played in the month of February, and only 1 goal in his last 5 games. That is far too low of a number for the Hurricanes’ top-line center, who also shares the goal lead on the team and is on the Hurricanes’ main powerplay unit.

Sunday should provide a good chance Aho to get back on the score-sheet with a goal, as the ‘Caneswill be playing the Edmonton Oilers — who will be playing on back-to-back days.  On top of that they rank in the bottom 10 in goals against by allowing 3.25 goals per game, rank in the bottom 10 in penalty kill percentage, and are projected to start Mike Smith in net. Smith ranks 87th in goals saved above expected. Look for Aho to jump on a tired Oilers team with a bad defense and find the back of the net.
