Kirill Kaprizov over 0.5 assists (+145)
The Minnesota Wild were once one of the most boring teams in the sport; Wild fans will be the first to tell you, Kaprizov changed the entire makeup of the organization. This kid is everything that he was advertised and more. Known for his goalscoring abilities, Kirill has actually had a great start to the season on the assist side of things. He’s generated five assists through just three games, and the odds for him recording an assist tonight are surprisingly high. +145 provides excellent value for bettors and for an early 6 pm ET game, bettors will want to get on this early. It’s not that he’s just averaging more than an assist per game, he’s actually collected at least one assist in every game he’s played this season; including a three assist night on Tuesday, the Wild’s last game played. With four days of rest, Kaprizov should be well rested for this one. Take him to get over 0.5 assists for tonight’s game.

Auston Matthews over 0.5 goals (+110)
We’re doubling down on Matthews to get a goal. After having a rough start to his season, last year’s Rocket Richard winner is yet to score a goal and defend his title. He recognizes he has some catching up to do, with Connor McDavid already having six on the season, and now that the Toronto media is scrutinizing him it’s time for him to show up. He has 11 shots through two games, his results aren’t for a lack of trying. Hopefully, tonight’s the night for his puck luck to turn. He has 36 career goals in 48 games in October.
With Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin out, Matthews should have a much easier line matchup in this one. He’s due for a breakout performance after two underwhelming games to start the year, expect that breakout to happen tonight. Take Matthews over 0.5 goals here.

Mathew Barzal over 2.5 shots on goal (+120)
Barzal is coming off of a one goal and nine shot performance during the Islanders Thursday night loss. The Isles have not had the start to the season that they were hoping for, but tonight provides them an excellent opportunity to get back in the win column against a very poor team in the Arizona Coyotes. The Isles can’t afford to lose this one, which means their best player (Barzal) should be taking every chance he has at scoring. The Coyotes are allowing just over 30 shots per game, after a nine shot performance expect Barzal to be dipping into that same game plan of getting pucks on net.
He’s averaging just over three shots per game through the first four games of the season and he’s totaled the most shots on goal for his team to start the season. If the Isles were playing more of a defensively structured team this might not be a good bet, but since they’re playing the Yotes bettors should anticipate a good night from New York and more specifically, Barzal. Take him to get over 2.5 shots in this one.
