Devon Toews (COL) over 0.5 goals (+410)

Devon Toews was drafted by the New York Islanders, but was traded to the Colorado Avalanche in the 2020 offseason and will be making his return to Long Island for the first time today. He is one of the most under-the-radar defensemen in the league, as he is paired with Norris trophy candidate Cale Makar. However, he holds his own as he leads the league in plus/minus and is averaging almost a point per game.

Last week the Islanders and Avalanche squared off in Denver and Toews found the back of the net. Look for Toews to haunt his old team again this season by lighting the lamp, only this time in the Islanders’ new arena. At +410, bettors are getting great value, so place your bet on Toews over 0.5 goals.

Elias Lindholm (CAL) over 0.5 goals (+172)

Elias Lindholm has been on an absolute tear since the calendar turned to March. In the 3 games he has played this month, he has already found the net 4 times and scored in every single game. As the Flames’ first-line center, he gets plenty of opportunities to score as he averages the most time on ice out of all the Flames forwards and is on the top powerplay unit as well.

Trying to prevent Lindholm from scoring will be a shaky Oilers defensive unit. The Oilers rank 21st in goals against per game with a mark of 3.21 and will be projecting to start Mikko Koskinen in net, who ranks 67th in goals saved above average. Look for Lindholm to keep his scoring streak going against a bad defensive team and place your bet on Lindholm over 0.5 goals.
