As the season winds down, there are unfortunately nights like Monday with just a single game. It’s also a game without any playoff implications. Thankfully, there is always the player prop market to find value. Tonight we’ll focus on the longtime captain of Chicago. Along with our player props, be sure to check out our full range of NHL analysis.
Patrick Kane over 1.5 points (+110)
While neither team has a postseason berth to fight for, Patrick Kane is not a superstar to take a night off. He has been the leader of the Blackhawks franchise for over a decade. He prides himself on his performance, having recorded a point-per-game average or just below in every one of his 15 NHL seasons. This year is no different, as he already has 91 points in 75 games. Chicago still has 3 games left in the season and a 100-point season is not out of the question.
The quest for the century mark will have to begin Monday night against the Flyers. Thankfully, Philly is an awful goaltending team and on the 2nd night of a back-to-back. The Flyers are already one of the worst in the league, allowing 3.72 goals per game on the road, and now come into Chicago after taking on their cross-state rival Penguins just last night. Kane has 27 multiple-point games on the season, including a 6-point game less than 2 months ago. Chicago doesn’t face Philly very often due to being in different conferences. They’ve played just once this season where Kane recorded an assist. Expect him to add in a goal or 2 to help him end with a 100-point season.
