There are just 2 NHL games tonight, but we’re going to take a deeper dive into one of the matchups and choose a player prop we think will provide good value and has a great chance of hitting. Both games are starting at 7:00 pm ET. These are the first games since the all-star break, and there could be some value on the board tonight.

Mitch Marner over 0.5 goals (+250)
Mitch Marner has found himself in some elite company. Entering this game, he’s on a 7-game goal streak and will be looking to become the first player this season to record a streak of 8 games. He’s on an incredible run, something that only 5 other Leafs have ever done, and at +250 bettors are getting incredible value. Marner is coming off a week of rest and should be primed for a good game. He had a 4-point, 2-goal night in his most recent game and he’s playing his best hockey of the season.
The oddsmakers are seriously undervaluing this play tonight. With 8 goals in his last 7 games, Marner has been one of the hottest goalscorers in the league and has shown no signs of slowing down. Because Hurricanes goaltender Frederick Andersen played in the all-star event this weekend, backup goaltender Antti Raanta is expected to get the start, which could be good news for bettors. Raanta has played only 1 game in the last month, and the lack of gameplay could negatively affect his game. The Leafs have scored 4 goals or more in their last 4 games. Take Marner to record a goal tonight.
