Despite the Vegas Golden Knights acquiring an elite offensive player in Jack Eichel, Max Pacioretty remains the number one shooting option. He’s logging minutes on the top line and first powerplay unit and getting plenty of looks. In his last 3 games, he’s had well over his shot totals, with 16 shots on goal. At +100 bettors are getting excellent value. Pacioretty has just returned from injury and has played only 3 games since his return. He hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. In the first 2 months of the season, Pacioretty had under four shots only once. When he’s well-rested (like he is after returning from injury), he is constantly shooting the puck. Take Pacioretty to record over 3.5 shots on goal tonight.

JT Miller over 0.5 goals (+187)
JT Miller is on a 3-game goal streak, and they have been highlight-reel goals. He is far and away the best offensive producer for the Canucks this season. His name has been floating around in trade rumors, but now that the Canucks are back in the hunt for a playoff spot, it’s tough to tell if his offensive explosion is happening out of spite to Vancouver, or because he loves playing with this team. Either way, whatever his mindset has been, it’s working. For +187 odds this might be the best value bet of the night in the NHL. The Washington Capitals are allowing nearly 3 goals per game over their last 10, and are averaging more than 4 minor penalties per game. If they give the Canucks chances on the powerplay, Miller will likely contribute a goal. Take Miller to extend his goal streak to 4 games by recording over 0.5 goals tonight.
