Do you know what I love about Fridays? Everything! The feeling of accomplishment after having made it through yet another week on top of the unlimited possibilities that the weekend ahead holds is enough for me. Throw in the fact that we are also staring down a 15-game MLB slate and this Friday becomes magic. We’re not just watching on our score apps either because MLB Network has the Cardinals/Braves at 7:20pm ET or the Marlins/Cubs at 8:05pm ET depending on your market. There is literally zero reason to sit this one out. Here are two MLB player props I found to add to your card.
Don’t forget to check what our MLB analysts have backed with side and total picks for all the games today/tonight. As always, bets can be added to the card, so why not follow me on Twitter in case we get some last-second action? It makes sense.
Erick Fedde over 4.5 strikeouts (+130)
Line available at BetMGM at time of publishing
This price is available almost everywhere but the best number is +130 at BetMGM. DraftKings is showing +120 and FanDuel has +128 posted so it’s not like you’re getting robbed laying this one down over there. I just like going with the best number overall. We have to watch our pennies.
Fedde is not a “strikeout guy” per say, but he can sit guys down. He’s got a 23.2 percent strikeout rate, which isn’t great but it’s not horrible. Especially on a 4.5 number at +130. He dropped seven Giants in only five innings last time out so he is in good form.
He gets the Mets tonight and even though he went five innings against them and struck out only three on April 23, this time around could be different. Over the last seven days, the Mets are striking out almost ten times a game. Their OPS in that span is .633 which is 25th-best in MLB. There are only 30 teams. That’s bad. Fedde has a real shot at going at least six innings and if he does, he should get at least five Mets via the K.
This is one of my favorite MLB player props for tonight.

Robbie Ray over 7.5 strikeouts (+110)
Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing
I swore I was going to stop going after the strikeout props in this range but the price, player and situation was too good. FanDuel is definitely the spot you want to grad this one as it’s +110 over there. DraftKings has it at -105 which is a big difference, while BetMGM is hanging +100.
Ray’s last two starts have been fantastic as he has gone for double-digit strikeouts in both games. Both opponents, Red Sox and White Sox, have been strikeout-prone recently but it’s hard to ignore double-digit strikeouts. He’s sitting at an elite 32.1 percent strikeout rate on the season which makes the 7.5 line a little easier to justify.
His opponent tonight is the Baltimore Orioles who just haven’t been good for a while. In the last week only one team has struck out more and only four teams have a lower OPS in that span. Simply put, they are a great target even though they are at home tonight. They’re bad everywhere. I think we are getting a great line at a great price with this wager.
This is one of my favorite MLB player props of the night.
