Obviously we have NFL football tonight, but you have to hear me out. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals don’t start until 8:20pm ET. That means you have nothing going on until then unless you dabble in MLB. Obviously you don’t want to do a full game since it will run over into football time and our brains can’t handle that. But what if we did a MLB player prop that started at 6:35pm ET? It will definitely be over by the time the NFL game starts and we will have been entertained from 6:35pm until lights out. This makes all the sense in the world and you know it.

This MLB player prop is at DraftKings right now and I am not sure we will see it anywhere else. FanDuel has Justin Steele’s line listed but not Yajure, so I doubt we see one there. BetMGM doesn’t have any player props listed for this game but they usually give us lines on randos, so they are worth checking later.
Miguel Yajure is everything I’m looking for in a pitcher. Over 6′ tall, slightly overweight with a mullet. If we gave this kid some goggles, I’d think I created him on MLB The Show. He’d be perfect.
Here’s the thing about Yajure; the books can’t make a good line on him. His pitch count so far has been 60, 57 and 72 with his strikeouts going from 4, 4 and 2. I think they are trying to stretch him out and with this being his last start of the season, maybe he goes 80+ if he doesn’t get rocked.
He’s getting the Chicago Cubs tonight and only 1 team has struck out more than they have over the last 15 days. That team is the Baltimore Orioles and they’ve played an extra game. None of the Cubs has seen Yajure yet and Justin Steele is on the mound, which means we could get a free one with him (4 whiffs in 10 at-bats this season). This MLB player prop should not be +105.
