Detroit’s top line is off to a strong start, and the link between Larkin and Raymond is a big reason why. In tonight’s matchup the Wings face the Maple Leafs. In 18 career games against the Maple Leafs, Larkin has fired 60 shots on goal, good for an average of 3.3 shots per game against them. Look for Larkin to exceed 2.5 shots tonight.

Pavel Buchnevich started his tenure in St. Louis on a high note. He was rolling with a goal and assist in his first 2 games. He was then suspended for 2 games, and returned to the lineup earlier this week. Buchnevich has not registered a point in his 2 games back, but he has a solid chance to do so tonight. The Blues face the Blackhawks this evening. Chicago is 0-6-2 on the year and 0-3-1 on the road. The St. Louis offense should be looking to have a big day. In addition to reclaiming his spot on the second line, Buchnevich should be seeing some time on the power play. That is a solid recipe for success, and after a 2-game point drought, look for Buchnevich to find the scoresheet tonight.
