With all the college football on today, it’s going to be tough to pay attention to the NBA. That’s just the facts of the matter. We shouldn’t even feel bad either because we have all winter and spring to watch basketball. We still should be betting it though. More action is always the answer. Obviously we want to stick with a NBA player prop and that’s what I’m doing. It’s just the way, people.

Dennis Schroder over 1.5 threes (-110)

This NBA player prop is pretty much the same bet no matter where you place it. BetMGM has the best number at 1.5 -110 but DraftKings has 1.5 for -115 and FanDuel is hanging 1.5 for -120. It’s definitely not the end of the world if you can’t get it at BetMGM but it is the best number.
This is just a matter of guessing volume since we can’t know how a guy is going to shoot on a given night. Marcus Smart won’t play for the Celtics against the Wizards tonight, so Schroder will likely fill his role which might not be the best news since he will be sharing the floor with high-usage guys Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Still, Smart still finds a way to chuck at least 5 threes every game, so there is hope.
Only one team in the NBA takes more three-point attempts every game than the Celtics. As a result, Schroder is taking more. In his last 2 games, he’s taken at least 6 attempts from deep and canned at least 4 of them each time. This is a pretty low bar to clear given the situation.
