We made it to Friday so it’s time we treat ourselves. One of the most perfect ways to do that is with an MLB player prop. I knew it was Brad Keller day and I was shocked to see his 5.5 at +125. I thought the sportsbooks would throw us a 4.5 at -150 or something stupid like that but no dice. We got a real gamblers line. That’s magic. The cherry on top is the fact that the game is at 2.20pm ET. While we’re wrapping up our work week, we’ll have a Brad Keller bet going. It doesn’t get better than that.

You can take this one at BetMGM since they have this at +125. FanDuel is pretty close at +122 and so is DraftKings at +120. It’s all deadly really. It’s completely up to you but I always like to have the best possible price on my MLB player props.
A lot of guys would be nervous to take Brad Keller at 5.5 but not me. He could be a 10 K a game type guy at some point in his career. He’s coming off a start where he whiffed 8 St. Louis Cardinals in 6.2 innings of work. The Cardinals are not a team that strikes out a lot. Keller is erratic but he’s gone at least 5 innings in 17 of his last 18 starts. If he goes 5 today, he should flirt with this number.
Keller is helped by his opponent today as the Chicago Cubs have struck out more than any other team in MLB over the last 15 days. In their last 442 at-bats, they’ve struck out 153 times. That’s like “little league” bad. In their last series against the Reds, Wade Miley fanned 8 in his start and Vladimir Gutierrez got 7 in his. Neither one of those guys are pitchers that get quite that high. We should be good with Keller.
