We’ve got a five-game slate for Wednesday’s NHL card, but there still plenty of opportunities to find some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Auston Matthews Over 1 Point (-178)

The Toronto Maple Leafs have already won the North Division rather easily, but will want to stay fresh here tonight against the below average Ottawa Senators. Here we are going with more of a chalky play and that would be Auston Matthews for the Maple Leafs. He is second on his team with 65 points, but has a league leading 40 goals on the season. Matthews has 16 points this season against Ottawa alone, and that is through eight head to head games. He has cashed this prop in four of those eight, pushed this prop three times and failed to score a point in just one of these games. For that reason, we like Matthews to end his season strong.

Kevin Fiala Over 0.5 Points (-136)

The Wild have long since clinched the playoffs, but will have a small chance to catch the Colorado Avalanche for second place in the West. Minnesota do trail Colorado by three points, but have one more game after tonight, while Colorado will play their last game tonight. Here we will be backing a Wild player that has proven to be successful against the Blues. That being Kevin Fiala. He has 40 points this season, good for second on the team. Though he is a very balanced player, with 20 assists and 20 goals on the season. In five games against the Blues, Fiala has a total of six points. He has cashed this prop in three of the five meetings, with five point in the last two games combined. Because of this recent success, we will be backing Fiala to score a point.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Minnesota Wild vs. St. Louis Blues.

Mikko Rantanen Over 1 Point (-168)

The Colorado Avalanche are hoping to finish the season strong in their final two games with the hoping of maybe just edging out the Vegas Golden Knights for the West Division title. It will likely take a lot, but winning these final two games will be the start. They also are just three points in front of Minnesota, so if Colorado collapse, there is still the chance they could fall to third place. Regardless, we are going to back one of the best Avalanche players around and that is Mikko Rantanen. He is second on the team with 61 points and is leading Colorado with 30 goals. In six games against the Kings, Rantanen has scored at least one point in every game with two games being multi-point.
