We’ve got a five-game slate for Wednesday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Mikko Rantanen Over 3 Shots on Goal (+112)

The Avalanche will look to hold their lead in the West Division as they get set to take on the Minnesota Wild once again. Colorado beat Minnesota 5-4 the other night and we are expecting a similar result this time around as well. Tonight we are going to be focusing on an Avalanche player, who has done more than his fair share of offensive production. That being Mikko Rantanen. He is second on the team with 128 shots on goal. That averages out to about 3.36 shots on goal per game. Rantanen is also the leading scorer for this Colorado team, so that will only help with his ability to cash this over. He had six shots on goal against Minnesota in the most recent game and has cashed this prop in two straight games. For that reason, we will look for him to shoot enough to reach this over.

David Perron Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+120)

The St. Louis Blues are no doubt struggling this season. Sitting only in fifth in the West Division, their chances at making the playoffs seem to be fading. Tonight the Blues will face the Golden Knights, and with a win, will hope to get back into the playoff picture. For this game, we are going to back a guy on the Blues. That player being David Perron. He pretty much leads the team in every major offensive category, including shots on goal, where we will look tonight. Perron has 106 shots on goal this season, an average of 2.78 shots on goal per game. Against Vegas this season, Perron is average 4.2 shots on goal per game over a stretch of four games. For that reason, backing this over will be our play.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Vegas Golden Knights vs. St. Louis Blues.

Dustin Brown Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-124)

The Los Angeles Kings are not a very good team and as a result are in the middle of a three-game losing streak. Even knowing that, there is reason to be optimistic about a player on this team. That being Dustin Brown. He leads the Kings in goals with 15. Although we are going to look for shots on goal instead. Brown is second on the team in shots on goal with 101. He is averaging 2.88 shots on goal per game and has cashed this prop in back to back games. Against the Coyotes, Brown has cashed this prop in three of the four games and we will back the same to happen tonight.
