We’ve got a four-game slate for Wednesday’s NHL card, but there are still plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Mattias Ekholm Over 2 Shots on Goal (+102)

Nashville is another team we do not back often in terms of player props because they really just are not that great of a team. They do not have any superstars so to speak, however their 6-0 record against Chicago this season leads us to believe that they could have a big game. Tonight we are going to back Mattias Ekholm, not to contribute a point, but to take a few shots on goal. This stems from his success against the Blackhawks, at least in terms of his shooting ability. Ekholm has 88 shots on goal this season and is averaging 2.2 shots per game. In the six games against the Blackhawks, he has 17 shots on goal and is averaging 2.83 shots on goal per game. He has cashed this prop in three of the six games against Chicago, but has only failed to have two shots on goal in one of those head to head meetings. At plus money, we like him to have at least two shots on goal here.

Kevin Fiala Over 0.5 Points (-114)

The Minnesota Wild will be looking to try and catch the Colorado Avalanche for second place in the West Division. They are currently in third place comfortably and come into this game having won four in a row. They just beat the Coyotes 5-2 the other night and will look to continue their win streak here. The player in focus tonight will be Kevin Fiala. He is second on the team with 28 points. He is second with 15 goals and sixth with 13 assists. Where Fiala has been solid, is against this Arizona side. In seven games against the Coyotes, Fiala has seven points. This includes the last four games in a row where he had at least one point. He actually had two points in the meeting the other night, so we will back him here to contribute offensively.

Mark Stone Over 1 Point (-114)

Last time we backed Mark Stone to get an assist and instead he just scored twice. Tonight we will take a different approach and will back him just to have points. Stone leads Vegas with 52 points on the season and is tied for eighth in this category. He now has had five consecutive multi-point games, which is what we will expect tonight as well. Plus, in six games against San Jose, Stone has scored at least one point in every one. Three of these games were multi-point games, but given how dominant he is playing right now, we will back him to continue his point streak.
