We’ve got a nine-game slate for Tuesday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Artemi Panarin Over 0.5 Points (-180)
The Rangers are surging for a playoff spot, winning their last four games in a row. Sure, all four of these games were against the New Jersey Devils, but New York still went out and took care of business. Tonight we are going to be backing one of their top players and maybe the hottest player in the NHL at the moment. That player being Artemi Panarin. He has 10 points over the last four games and 20 over the last 10 games. That is an average of two points per game during this stretch, which is just wild. In five games against the Islanders, Panarin has four points. Based on how well he is playing as of late, backing him to have a point in a game that is crucial will be our play.

Bryan Rust Over 0.5 Points (-168)
This is an interesting match-up because the New Jersey Devils just got shredded by the New York Rangers and now have to face a Pittsburgh Penguins team that just lost two of their last three. The Penguins are still sitting in a decent spot in terms of the playoffs, though this is not a game they can afford to drop points in. Tonight we are going with one of the Penguins’ top player, but not Sidney Crosby. The focus tonight will be Bryan Rust. He is fourth on the team in points with 34, but is tied for second with 17 goals. Rust also has six points over the last five games. More importantly, Rust always seems to step up his game against New Jersey. In five head to head games, Rust has a collective nine points. Three multi-point games as well, making his point prop worth a play tonight.

Victor Hedman Over 0.5 Assists (-118)
Victor Hedman came through for us on Monday night with an assist, so we are going to look his way once again. Keep in mind that this will be the same matchup as well and is a matchup that we believe the Lightning will be able to take advantage. Hedman now has 34 assists on the season, the clear leader for Tampa Bay. He also is tied for 10th in the NHL in assists and is tied for second among defenders. Hedman now has three assists in his last two games and seven in his last 10 games. In seven games against Carolina now, Hedman has four assists. So much of Tampa Bay’s offense comes through Hedman, so we will back him to have an assist.
