We’ve got a five-game slate for Tuesday’s NHL card, and that means there are a few opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Jonathan Huberdeau Over 2 Shots on Goal (-118)
The Panthers have plenty of offensive weapons on this team, but we are instead going with a shots on goal prop. Maybe not a popular one either, as we are expecting Jonathan Huberdeau to put some shots on goal tonight. Huberdeau does only have 64 shots on goal this season, though more than half of those shots have come in the month of March. In 11 games this month, he is averaging 3.18 shots on goal per game. He has had at least two shots on goal in 10 of those 11 games and surpassed this prop in five games. Because we expect Florida to score plenty here, backing this over prop will be our play.

Victor Hedman Over 0.5 Assists (-120)
Tampa Bay continues to look like one of the best teams in the NHL, winning their last four games in a row. Tonight they will be facing a Dallas team that has struggled all season and a team they should be able to take advantage of in several ways. Especially with a guy like Victor Hedman, the Lightning are primed to win this game by at least a few goals. Hedman is a defender, but loves to get involved in the offense any time he can. That is why he has 26 assists this season and leads Tampa Bay in this category. Hedman has 10 assists over the Lightning’s last 12 games, including a game where he had three. Since we expect Tampa Bay to be scoring plenty of goals here, backing Hedman to grab an assist will be our play.

Nathan MacKinnon Over 0.5 Assists (-115)
Colorado is really starting to play well right now, having won seven games in a row. They will rematch the Arizona Coyotes tonight, coming off a 5-1 win against them on Monday. Here we are going to back one of the Avalanche’s best player to have another productive night on the offensive end. That player being Nathan MacKinnon. He is leading this team with 23 assists, which is what we are looking at tonight. He just had one assist against Arizona on Monday, and has a total of six over the last three games. Colorado’s offense goes through MacKinnon more often than not, so backing him to have an assist is going to be our play here.
