We’ve got a five-game slate for Tuesday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Connor McDavid Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-114)
Backing a player like Connor McDavid is usually risky because you tend to have to pay a premium. We have even seen this when backing him this year and have been burned as well as cashed many props. As the season winds down, McDavid has been heating up again, which is why we are going to back him tonight for another game with a ton of shots on goal. Especially against the Canucks, McDavid is averaging 5.5 shots on goal per game this season. That is over a stretch of six games. He has had four or more shots on goal in four of the six games, so backing him to do the same tonight will be our play.

Sebastion Aho Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-130)
The Carolina Hurricanes are closing in on a Central Division title and will look to extend their two-point lead over Florida with a win against a below average Chicago team. Tonight, our main focus will be on Sebastion Aho. Not only is Aho one of the best players for the Hurricanes, but he leads their team with 24 goals. While we are not backing him to score tonight, we are going to back his shots on goal prop. Obviously, scoring would help with this. Aho is third on the team with 136 shots on goal and is averaging 2.6 shots per game. In six games against the Blackhawks, Aho has cashed this prop five times and is averaging 4.0 shots on goal per game. Given he just had a hat trick on Monday and nine shots on goal, we will back his shots on goal prop to go over.

Sam Reinhart Over 0.5 Points (-122)
Buffalo may be one of the worst teams in the NHL, but we are going to back one of their best players tonight. That player being Sam Reinhart, who just had three points in the 4-2 win over the Islanders last night. He has 40 points on the season now and leads the Sabres with 25 goals. He has cashed this prop in four of the six games against the Islanders this season and is averaging 1.0 point against them. For that reason, we will be backing his over.
