After a seven-game slate on Wednesday, we are back with a 10-game schedule on Thursday. The action starts at 7:00 p.m. ET. Here we are going to focus on the player props and will be looking for guys to step up for their teams. Make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game, as well.
Brady Tkachuk Over 3.5 shots on goal (-106)
The Senators have won a few games in a row, but are still not a good team. They still have the top shot taker in the NHL, that being Brady Tkachuk. He has 89 shots on goal this season and is averaging 4.2 shots on goal per game. In 12 of Ottawa’s 21 games, Tkachuck has had at least four shots on goal. In four of the last five games, Tkachuk has surpassed this prop total and we will back him here again to trouble the goalie with plenty of shots on frame.

David Pastrnak Over 1 point (+104)
The Boston Bruins are coming off a huge win this past Sunday against the Philadelphia Flyers on Lake Tahoe. They generated seven goals in that game and our player in focus tonight scored three of them. That would be David Pastrnak. We have backed Pastrnak several times this season and for the most part he continues to cash tickets for us.
He has 14 points this season and while that does not lead his team, remember that he has only played nine games this season. Pastrnak does have nine goals, which is tied for the lead on Boston; clearly he has been able to contribute in several ways. Pastrnak has had at least one point in seven of the nine games he has played this season and four games with multiple points. In one game against the Islanders this season, he had two points. We expect the same here tonight.

Mark Scheifele Over 1 Point (+130)
The Winnipeg Jets are playing very strong hockey right now and just beat Vancouver in back to back games. Now they face a Montreal team that just fired its coach and looks to be headed in the wrong direction. The Jets have seen a huge spark from Mark Scheifele, who has 26 points and leads their team in that department. He has 16 assists and 10 goals, also leading the Jets in both categories. Scheifele has had at least one point in 10 straight games and 16 of Winnipeg’s 18 games. He has also had seven games with at least two points or more, so with the state of the Canadiens here we will back Scheifele to have at least two points.
