We’ve got a 10-game slate for Thursday’s NHL card, but that still means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Connor McDavid Over 1.5 Points (-120)
There is not much to say about Connor McDavid, other than he is an absolute beast. Three more points for him last night to once again cash the point prop for us. Even on the second night of a back to back, it is worth looking at yet another McDavid point prop. He now has a ridiculous 84 points on the season, and appears to be playing his best hockey down the stretch. In eight games against the Flames, McDavid is averaging nearly two points a game. He has cashed this prop in four of those eight games and even had a few games with at least three points or more. Because he is on an absolute roll, we are going to back him here to have two points.

Claude Giroux Over 0.5 Points (-138)
It is pretty easy to see that Philadelphia’s season is not going to continue this postseason. While they technically still have a fighting chance, it is going to take so much for them to make a late season run. Regardless, we expect the Flyers to still play hard as long as they have that slim chance. Tonight we are going to back Claude Giroux, who is not the point leader on this team, but still provides a lot. Giroux is actually third on the Flyers with 36 points. He has 22 assists and 14 goals, showing that he can do a bit of everything. Giroux has especially fared well against New Jersey, posting six points in their five head to head games. Because he has had at least one point in four of these games, backing his point total to go over will be our play.

Brayden Point Over 0.5 Point (-158)
The Tampa Bay Lightning are fresh off a 7-4 against the Chicago Blackhawks to stay within reach of the Central Division lead. They are currently in third, but just three points separate them from the top. Tonight, we are going to focus on one of their best players not named Victor Hedman. That being Brayden Point. He actually leads the team in points with 45, while also leading them with 21 goals. Add in the 24 assists and Point is by far their most balanced player. He is coming off consecutive three point games, claiming six points in the last two games. Five of these points came from assists, but with a knack for scoring, just backing his point total to go over is likely the safer play.
