We have only a one-game slate on Thursday in the NHL Playoffs, so we will be looking to find one player for each team that presents some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.

Nikita Kucherov Over 1 Point (-144)

The Tampa Bay Lightning did well to salvage one of the two home games by winning by a score of 4-2 in Game 2. Tonight we are going to back what has been the best player over the course of the postseason in Nikita Kucherov. He had three points in Game 2 (all assists) and we are going to look for him to have another multi-point game. He does now have 22 points in 13 playoff games this season and it is hard to believe that the Islanders are going to shut him out as they did in Game 1. Especially with this being an important Game 3, we are going to back Kucherov to at the very least have one point to push this prop, but will expect him to have more than that for an easy cash.

Matthew Barzal Over 0.5 Points (-132)

This may sound like a broken record, but we are going to once again ride the hot hand of Matthew Barzal. The Islanders’ man scored a goal in Game 2 of the series, making it his second consecutive game with a goal against Tampa Bay. Now playing at home, the Islanders will be hoping to use the thunderous crowd to lead them to a 2-1 series lead. The home crowd should only give guys like Barzal confidence to contribute in this game, which is why we like him to record a point. The Islanders have played six games at home in the postseason so far and Barzal has a total of seven points in those games. At least until Barzal shows he is not going to continue scoring or assisting for that matter, we will ride the hot hand of Barzal tonight.
