After a 12-game slate on Saturday, we are back to just a four-game schedule on Sunday. The action starts at 2:00 p.m. ET, however we are likely going to focus on the night games. Here we are going to focus on the player props and will be looking for guys to step up for their teams. Make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game as well.

Brady Tkachuk Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+104)

There is no hiding the fact that the Ottawa Senators are one of the worst teams in hockey. They generate very little offensively and against a solid Montreal defense, it is hard to imagine many players finding points. That said, there is still the opportunity for the Senators to put a ton of shots on goal. More so, one guy in particular, that being Brady Tkachuk. He is second in the NHL with the number of shots on goal he takes at 77. Through 19 games, this averages out to about 4.05 shots on goal. He has had at least four shots on goal in half of Ottawa’s games this season too. Just knowing how bad the Ottawa offense is has me on the over here.

David Pastrnak Over 1 Point (-136)

First off, we need to point out that this game will be played on Lake Tahoe. That could bring an issue with the conditions, but with the game being played at night, it will likely be okay. Secondly, both of these teams are red-hot. This will actually be a battle between the top two teams in the East division. Boston is very balanced and has plenty of guys who can make a real impact.

For Sunday’s game, we are going to with David Pastrnak to provide some offense. Pastrnak is a guy who has only played eight games this year due to an injury that kept him from starting the season. In those eight games, he has five goals and six assists. Two of his games played were against this Philadelphia team. Pastrnak has five points against the Flyers over this stretch. That includes three goals and two assists. He has scored at least one point in six of the eight games too, so with a point prop, it is possible we get a push. Still, because of his success against the Flyers not too long ago, we will back the over here.

Brock Boeser Over 0.5 Points (-154)

The Canucks have been decent at times this season, but other times, they have been awful. This inconsistent play is why they are second to last in the North division. They have come to rely on one main guy for offense and that is Brock Boeser. He is leading the team with 21 points, which includes 12 goals and nine assists. His 12 goals ranks tied for second in the NHL, behind the red-hot Auston Matthews. In 21 games this season, 12 have seen him grab at least one point. In two games against Winnipeg, he has two points (both goals), so we expect him to help generate offense here as well. We are going with a point-prop just in case an assist opportunity arises over a scoring chance.
