After a 12-game schedule on Saturday, we are in store an eight-game card on Sunday. The action starts at 1:00 p.m. ET, but we will be focusing on the games starting at 7 p.m. ET. Among the teams playing tonight are the Philadelphia Flyers, Colorado Avalanche and the Edmonton Oilers. Here we are going to focus on the player props and will be looking for guys to step up for their teams. Make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game as well.

Jakub Voracek Over 0.5 Points (-106)

The Philadelphia Flyers look like one of the best teams in the NHL right now, posting a 6-2-1 record of their first nine games. They are currently riding a three-game win streak, and will look for their fourth win in a row when they take on the New York Islanders on Sunday night. This will actually be a rematch of the game on Saturday, where the Flyers won 3-2. Here we are going to look at one of the Flyers’ best players in terms of point production. That being, Jakub Voracek. He has 10 points this season, eight assists and two goals. He has scored at least one point in five straight games, so we like his chances to continue that streak here against the Islanders.

Nathan MacKinnon Over 0.5 Assists (-132)

The Colorado Avalanche will be looking for their fourth win in a row when they take on the Minnesota Wild on Sunday night. The Avalanche just played the Wild on Saturday and beat them 5-1, so the chances of another win seem likely. Here we are going to back one of Colorado’s best players in Nathan MacKinnon. He is not known for scoring a ton of goals, and only has found the back of the net twice this season. However, he has 10 assists, which ranks tied for second in the NHL. MacKinnon has had at least one assist in four straight games, which includes the Saturday game with the Wild. Colorado has already shown this season that they have one of the better offenses in the league. Because of that, we will look for the Avalanche to score plenty of goals and for MacKinnon to be involved in at least one of them.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild.

Connor McDavid Over 0.5 Goals (+100)

Believe it or not but the Edmonton Oilers come into Sunday’s game with a losing record. They easily have two of the best players in the entire NHL, yet their defense has more than let them down this season. We are actually going to look at one of their elite players in this game, that being Connor McDavid. He is on a tear this season, posting 17 points already in 10 games. McDavid has 10 assists and seven goals. He is coming off a two goal performance against Toronto and has scored in two of his last three games. With seven goals now, McDavid sits tied for second in the NHL. The Oilers play the Senators on Sunday, which means he should have more than enough chances to score. Ottawa is allowing 4.4 goals per game this season, so we are going to back McDavid to find the back of the net.
