We’ve got a monster 12-game slate for Saturday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game. We’ve been having a great NHL season so far, let’s keep it going on Saturday.

Nicklas Backstrom Over 0.5 Assists (+100)

The Washington Capitals are one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now, winning seven of their last games. This includes a 4-1 stretch since the beginning of March. Tonight we are going to back one of the Capitals’ best players to bag another assist. That player being Nicklas Backstrom. He is leading Washington with 29 points this year and has the most assists on the team with 19. He has four assists in his last four games, therefore we like his chances to grab another tonight. Especially since the Flyers are set to start Connor Hart in goal. Hart has a 3.61 goals-against average and .888 save percentage, so there should not be a shortage of goals for Washington. At plus-money, our play will be on the over 0.5 assists prop for Backstrom.

Nikolaj Ehlers Over 0.5 Points (-122)

A lot of the times when we back a Winnipeg player, it is Mark Scheifele. However, this time we are going with a player who has had the hot hand as of late. That player being Nikolaj Ehlers. He has 28 points this season, the second most on the team. Ehlers is the leading goal scorer as well, so there is plenty of reason to believe he will be able to score at least one point tonight. He has five points in the last two games combined, all against this Toronto team. At this price, we will gladly back one of the better Jets players to score or assist in a game that should have some goals.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Winnipeg Jets vs. Toronto Maple Leafs.

Leon Draisaitl Over 0.5 Assists (-150)

Yes, we are going right back to Leon Draisaitl tonight after successfully backing him to have at least two points n Friday night. This time however, instead of points, we are going to back assists. That being for a few reasons. One is that Draisaitl has 29 assists on the season. Only Connor McDavid has more than him in this category. Second, is that Draisaitl has absolutely dominated Vancouver this season. In four head to head games against the Canucks, Draisaitl has nine assists. He is averaging 2.25 assists against Vancouver alone, which is more than impressive. So even at a little bit of a steep price, Draisaitl has been far too goo against this Canucks team to not think he will have at least one assist.
