We’ve got a nine-game slate for Monday’s NHL card, which means there are plenty of games to find some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Connor McDavid Over 1.5 Points (-124)
As mentioned plenty of times, backing a guy like Connor McDavid can be tough because he is pretty much expected to light it up every time he is on the ice. That will not change here as we will be looking for him to have a big game. McDavid is leading the NHL with 100 points and has 16 in just his last five games. He has struggled some against the Canadiens, posting just eight points in seven games. However, his last two games against them, have each resulted in three point games. Given the fact that we already like the Oilers to win and for this to be a high scoring game, we will back McDavid to do most of that work and continue to dominate the league with his point scoring ability.

Roman Josi Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-110)
We are going back to this prop because Roman Josi has cashed for us a few times recently. That would be for Josi to have over 2.5 shots on goal. Being on of Nashville’s best players, he has 141 total shots on goal this season. He has played 48 games due to an injury earlier in the season, so he is averaging 2.93 shots on goal per game. Against the Hurricanes he has been effective, cashing this prop in four of the five games he has played against them. When playing the Hurricanes, Josi is averaging 2.6 shots on goal per game, however we like him here to at the very least have three shots on goal.

Patrick Kane Over 1 Point (-172)
If this play looks familiar, that would be because we just went to it on Sunday night. Given that Patrick Kane cashed this prop with ease last night, it is worth a shot to go back to him here. Remember, Dallas and Chicago have nothing to play for, considering they have both been eliminated from the playoffs. Dallas came out a little slow last night as we thought and we believe that will be the case in this game as well. Kane now has 66 points on the season, ranking 5th in the NHL. He has eight points against this Stars team this year, cashing this prop in four of their seven games. Because he just was able to put together a good game last night, we will be expecting the same here.
