We’ve got an eight-game slate for Monday’s NHL card, but that still means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Brady Tkachuk Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-120)
We really do not back the Ottawa Senators all that often, but we will go to a familiar play tonight. That being Brady Tkachuk to have shots on goal. He continues to lead the NHL with 194 shots on goal and is averaging 4.04 shots per game. He has cashed this prop in four of the last seven games as well. Even more impressive, Tkachuk is averaging five shots on goal per game against Vancouver. This is over a span of eight games this season. Furthermore, against the Canucks, Tkachuk has cashed this prop in seven of those head to head meetings. The Senators are out of the playoff picture, but they still seem to be playing hard every night, so backing Tkachuk to go over his shots on goal prop will be our play.

Connor McDavid Over 1.5 Points (+104)
Given the dominance of Connor McDavid this season, we are going to back him tonight against a reeling Winnipeg team. The Oilers are actually just one-point behind second place in the North Division, which would certainly affect their playoff seeding. McDavid has an outstanding 77 points this year, clearly leading the NHL. He has eight points alone in his last three games with at least three points in back to back game. Also, in seven games against the Jets, McDavid has been dominant. He has at least two points in every single head to head game, so given the fact that Winnipeg is struggling right now, we are going to back McDavid to put on another show.

Nathan MacKinnon Over 1 Assist (+136)
Tonight we are looking to back one of the top Colorado players. That being Nathan MacKinnon. First of all, MacKinnon leads the team with 59 points. More importantly, he leads the team with 41 assists and that is where we are looking tonight. The Avalanche and Blues will actually play their fourth consecutive game tonight, and MacKinnon has six assists in the last three games. Another reason we like MacKinnon to have at least one assist is because Mikko Rantanen was placed on the Covid list a few games ago. Since then, MacKinnon has had five assists in two games. Therefore, at plus money we will back him to have a few assists, but having just one will still be a push.
