We’ve got a nine-game slate for Monday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game. We’ve been having a great NHL season so far, let’s keep it going on Monday.

J.T. Miller Over 0.5 Assists (-140)

The Canucks are playing better hockey as of recently, going 5-2 in their last seven games. Sparking this run has been J.T. Miller. In general, Miller has the second most points for the Canucks and the second most assists. As of late, he has really started to pick things up, grabbing four assists in the last four games. Now facing an Ottawa team that is still playing awful, we expect him to be able to find an assist here. The Senators allow the most goals per game in the NHL too, so the Canucks are going to have more than enough opportunities to score. We already like Vancouver to win easily, so backing the over for this assist prop will be our play.

Aleksander Barkov Over 1 Point (-132)

The Florida Panthers will rematch the Chicago Blackhawks here, looking for their fourth straight win. Florida beat Chicago this past weekend by a score of 4-2 and there was certainly one player who stuck out in terms of production. That is the player we are backing tonight to have a repeat performance. The player in question is Aleksander Barkov for the Panthers. He has 31 points this season, which is second-best on this Florida team. He leads the team in goals with 11 and has 20 assists as well. In that recent game against Chicago, Barkov had three points. He now has 10 points in his last seven games, so we like his chances to grab one here as well. Barkov will have to have two points to cash this prop, but because he is such a big part of this offense, we still like the over.

Be sure to check out our full game preview for Chicago Blackhawks vs. Florida Panthers.

Nikolaj Ehlers Over 0.5 Points (-124)

The Winnipeg Jets are playing very well this season and just took two out of three against the Toronto Maple Leafs. We backed this player the other day, but because he has been so good, we are going to back him again here. That player being Nikolaj Ehlers. He has a total of 29 points this season, good for second best on Winnipeg. Ehlers is actually the Jets’ leading scorer with 14 goals on the season. In the three games against Toronto, Ehlers had a total of six points. That is very solid over just a stretch of three games. Obviously they were playing a good team too, making it that much more impressive. Now playing a much weaker Montreal side, we like Ehlers to keep the points coming and will back the over for this prop.
