We have a one-game slate for Monday’s NHL, so we will be looking to find one player for each team who represents some value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on NHL player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. When you’ve finished reading, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Tyler Toffoli over 0.5 points (+102)
While it is surprising that Montreal has made it this far, they have more than deserved it. They made short work of a solid Winnipeg team and Tyler Toffoli will be the player we focus on tonight. He led the team with five points in that series against Winnipeg and now has ten points in the postseason. He recorded at least one point in every game against the Jets and will need to be a factor if the Canadiens are going to stand a chance. Vegas plays very good defense, however Toffili looks to be a solid choice to contribute. Therefore at plus-money, backing Toffoli to record at least one point in Game 1 of this series will be our play.
Jonathan Marchessault over 0.5 points (-118)
We have gone to Jonathan Marchessault plenty of times in this postseason and we like his chances to record at least a point in Game 1 of this series as well. Marchessault was brilliant in the previous series against Colorado, posting seven points. He recorded at least one point in all but one game in that previous series, which included a hat-trick.
Marchessault tends to play very well at home where the Golden Knights will be tonight and we believe that will lead to him having a productive game. He is especially lethal in front of net, scoring six times so far in the postseason. The Vegas attack is one of the best in the league, so there is also a solid chance that he could grab an assist as well. Given the fact that Vegas will want to keep home-ice advantage, we like Marchessault to be involved and will back him to record a point.
