We’ve got a seven-game slate for Monday’s NHL card, and that means there are plenty of opportunities for value. Right now, we’re going to be focusing on player props, bringing you a few of our favorite props. Before you bet these, make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for every game.
Mark Scheifele Over 2 Shots on Goal (-154)
Not normally known for his shooting is Mark Scheifele. However, given some of his recent results, there is reason to believe a shots on goal prop is the way to go here. Scheifele is only fourth on the team with 83 shots on goal this season. He averages 2.18 shots on goal per game, which is still slightly more than what we need for this game. He has cashed this prop three games in a row, averaging 4.6 shots on goal per game during that stretch. Ottawa is also not a great team by any stretch, so asking Scheifele to have at least two shots on goal will be our play.

Brad Marchand Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+100)
Boston has been solid at times, which is why we are going to one of their top guys tonight. That player being Brad Marchand. All we need from him is shots on goal. Marchand is fourth on this team with 80 shots on goal. He has cashed this prop in three straight games though, so his recent shooting numbers would suggest he will be able to have at least three shots on goal tonight. Especially against the Flyers, who have shown a lack of defense as of late. Marchand had three shots on goal alone in the most recent game after earning a hat trick and we like him to fire away on a weak Flyers side tonight.

Kirill Kaprizov Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+104)
Minnesota has picked some nice wins recently, beating Vegas in back to back games. A much tougher test comes tonight in the Colorado Avalanche. Kirill Kaprizov, who we have backed plenty of times before will be the player in focus for the Wild tonight. Kaprizov is second on Minnesota with 95 shots on goal this season. He is averaging 2.63 shots on goal per game. He has cashed this prop four out of the last five games as well, averaging 3.8 shots on goal per game during this stretch. Even with a solid Avalanche defense, we expect there to be plenty of goals scored. If Minnesota wants any chance, Kaprizov needs to be on his game, so backing his shots on goal prop to go over will be our play.
