David Perron over 0.5 goals (+190)
The Colorado Avalanche have a golden opportunity to win this series in five games and on home ice tonight, but the St. Louis Blues are unlikely to go down without a fight. David Perron has officially been fined $5,000 for his cross-check on Nazem Kadri in Game 4. If you watched the game, there was a lot more Perron attempted throughout that game, and his fine could have been larger and possibly resulted in a suspension. The storylines have surrounded these two players for the last two games of the playoffs, and after Kadri recorded a hat-trick in Game 4, it’s time for Perron to himself stand out in a game.
Perron is a skilled power forward, but he needs to focus on producing, not injuring his opponents. He is a natural goalscorer and has played a major role in advancing the Blues this far, he needs to have a great offensive night if the Blues have any chance. Perron has recorded four goals in four games against Colorado this round, he’ll need to maintain that pace here tonight. He has also gathered nine goals throughout the playoffs, which is good for the second-most in the entire league. At +190, bettors are getting great value for Perron to score tonight. All eyes will be on Perron after his antics last game, in this due or die matchup he’ll need to perform. Take Perron to record over 0.5 goals tonight.
