Nick Schmaltz over 1.5 points (+250)
The last time these teams met, there were fireworks. The final score was 8-5. It was the first time in NHL history that a team was leading by 4 goals (Arizona Coyotes), gave up the lead, and still managed to win by 3 goals. It was a rollercoaster. But most importantly for the bettors tonight, Nick Schmaltz had the best game of his career and a record night for the Coyotes franchise.
He recorded 7 points, and has been on a point-per-game streak ever since. We’ve been tailing Schmaltz all week and he hasn’t missed for us yet, but tonight we’re getting a little riskier in taking him to cover 1.5 points. Oddsmakers have finally caught onto his 0.5-point player prop and they’ve weakened the odds, but in this rematch against the Ottawa Senators, we love the value.
He probably won’t record another 7 points, but 2 points is definitely in his wheelhouse. Schmaltz has hit for us all week, let’s take him to record over 1.5 points in tonight’s only NHL game.
