He has been playing some great hockey and bettors should ride the hot hand. The Panthers have a chance to close out the series tonight, and in order to do so, they’ll need their depth players to continue to show up. There’s no reason for Verhaeghe to take his foot off the gas tonight, if the Panthers have a chance of winning the series they’re going to need him to maintain this level of performance. The games between the Panthers and Washington Capitals have been high-scoring, and 4 of the 5 have had 6 or more goals. Matthew Tkachuk over 0.5 goals (+155)
Matthew Tkachuk is due for a goal. After recording 42 goals during the regular season and leading the Calgary Flames in that department, Tkachuk is yet to score during the playoffs. This series has been very low-scoring with the under hitting in 4 of 5 games. However, in tonight’s elimination game, the Flames need their best players to show up. Tkachuk has been a physical presence in every game and has got under the skin of some Dallas players. But tonight, the best way he can aggravate them is through his speed, skill and helping the Flames to win. After 5 scoreless games, the best goalscorer on the Flames needs to get rolling and find some confidence. If the Flames advance, Tkachuk will be hoping to get the monkey off his back before round two. Take Tkachuk to record over 0.5 goals tonight.
