Sunday brings us a solid 6-game NHL slate beginning at 1:00pm ET Eastern. There are a couple of teams looking for revenge after losing to their opponent earlier this month, some good inter-conference matchups and a few teams looking to catch fire after stagnant starts. What better way to cap off your weekend than posting up in front of a TV and watching your bets? With plenty of good value on the board, kick those feet up and enjoy!

If you’re looking to have some action, check out our favorite player props for Sunday night. Along with our player props, be sure to also check out our NHL picks for each of today’s games.

Charlie Coyle (BOS) Over 0.5 points (+115)

With the Bruins’ win and the Golden Knights’ loss on Saturday, Boston sits atop the NHL with 26 points and an .867 win percentage. The Bruins get a favorable matchup on Sunday as they host the Canucks. Vancouver is 4-8-3 and 2-5-2 on the road. They allow the 3rd-most goals per game in the NHL and have the league’s worst power play. Vancouver also hasn’t had much help from their goaltenders early on as they combine for a 4-7-3 record with a 3.73 goals against average and .887 save percentage. The Bruins have a great chance to light up the scoreboard on Sunday.

Boston continues to be successful because they are getting contributions all up and down their lineup. If Boston holds to their offensive averages, there is a good chance that Charlie Coyle will be able to get in on the action against a weak defensive team. Coyle averages around 18 minutes of ice time per game, has a +7 rating, and averages nearly 2 shots on goal per game. He centers Trent Frederic and Pavel Zacha, and he is on the team’s 2nd power-play unit. The pure matchup of this deep, strong Bruins team against one of the NHL’s worst defense and goaltending teams brings good value to Bruins forwards props.

Logan Couture (SJ) Over 2.5 shots (+140)

The Sharks are not a very good team. With that, they often have to play catchup throughout the game or have to take chances offensively to stay in a close game. That game script could reign true again on Sunday in Minnesota. The Wild appear to be trending upward as they are 6-3 in their last 9 games. They are playing good hockey, and are all around deeper and better than the Sharks. An unlikely game script would be San Jose scoring early and often, then taking its foot off the gas offensively to just keep the puck out of the net. It’s much more likely that they’ll need to push on offense as much as possible.

In a game which San Jose will be either catching up or trying to win a close game, they will be taking more chances offensively than they otherwise would. That means throwing everything at the net and crashing for a rebound. Logan Couture centers the Sharks’ second line and first power-play unit. He has 11 points and 35 shots in 15 games. He plays important minutes and continues to be a stalwart in the Sharks’ lineup. Any offense the Sharks muster should at least partially include Couture. The Sharks will likely need to pepper Minnesota’s goalie and drive the net to bury the puck and stay in this game. Over 2.5 shots for Couture at +140 is solid value.
