There are at least 1 and at most 3 more games remaining in the 2022-2023 NHL season. The Golden Knights will make a push for it to be the 1 game outcome and the Panthers will make a push for the 3 games outcome. Regardless, considering the circumstances, Game 5 should be the most intense of this series yet. If this game is truly it for the season and you want to make a play or two, here are a couple of player props that we like for Game 5, but you can also check out our Panthers vs Golden Knights predictions on the side and total.

Mark Stone over 0.5 goals (+165)

Mark Stone is the first captain in Golden Knights franchise history. He should have plenty of pep in his step on Tuesday. Not many players get the opportunity to be the first to hoist a cup in franchise history. Teammate Alex Pietrangelo did it 4 years ago for St. Louis. Now between these 2 teams that do not have a Stanley Cup banner in their arenas, Mark Stone is much better positioned to do so than Aleksander Barkov. The Golden Knights do not appear to be a team that will crumble under pressure with the Stanley Cup in their barn. Vegas looks poised to win this series and does not want to waste any time or take any chances of letting it linger. They will come out with some jump to get the job done.

Of course, Vegas having a good chance to win does not automatically mean that Stone will produce. But for any offense the Golden Knights generate, there is still a good chance that he will be involved. Add in the intangibles of adrenaline, incentive, and meaningfulness, and Stone all of a sudden looks like the guy to bet on. He has 2 goals and 6 points in this series alone, as well as 21 points in 21 games this postseason. This is not exactly taking a flyer on some bottom 6 role player. In the most important series he has ever played in, Stone has produced at a clip of more than a point per game.

Sam Bennett over 0.5 points (-135)

As we have seen plenty this postseason, this Panthers team does not go down without a fight. Oftentimes, quite literally. But they were down 3-1 against a historically good Bruins team and they have had plenty of comeback wins as well, most recently in Game 3 of this Stanley Cup Final. Unless they are completely outplayed on Tuesday, the Panthers will make it difficult for the Golden Knights. In another game with the team’s back against the wall, Sam Bennett will be in the mix in Game 5. Bennett has proven to be one of the more important players in the Panthers’ lineup this postseason. He does a little bit of everything and is rewarded as such by Head Coach Paul Maurice.

Sam Bennett centers the second line in between Matthew Tkachuk and Carter Verhaeghe. That line has 54 points in a combined 59 games in these playoffs. Bennett logged over 20 minutes of ice time in Games 3 and 4. He should continue to get important minutes on an important, productive line in an important game. Tkachuk looks like he may be a bit banged up but Bennett plays plenty physically himself. He will go to the dirty areas, mix it up, and look to make plays when there is not one there. Bennett has been involved in plenty of offensive production this postseason and to reiterate, the Panthers will not go down without a fight. Look for Sam Bennett to be a leader of the Panthers’ big push on Tuesday night to extend their season to Game 6.
