The wildcard Kraken just will not go away. After upsetting the Avalanche who were a big-time favorite in the West, they avoided elimination in Game 6 against the Stars and now are a win away from going to the Conference Finals. Seattle and Dallas have provided a high-scoring series thus far as their offensive prowess from the regular season has rolled into the playoffs. This Game 7 will be must-watch for hockey fans with depth and star power on full display.

Joe Pavelski over 0.5 goals (+155)
Joe Pavelski’s game has aged like a fine wine. At 38 years old, he played in all 82 regular season games tallying 28 goals and 77 points. He has turned his game up even more in these playoffs. In 7 games played this postseason, Pavelski has 8 goals and 10 points. He has been held pointless in just 1 game in these playoffs and has a goal in all but 2 games. Something about the Kraken makes for a favorable matchup for Pavelski specifically as all 8 of his goals and 9 of his 10 points have some against Seattle. Factoring in his production this postseason, he now has 135 points in 175 career playoff games. If that is not a proven pedigree, not sure what is.
The +140 odds for Pavelski to score make him the 3rd most likely player in the game to score according to Vegas. Who is ahead of him? His linemates. Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz. That line of Pavelski, Robertson, and Hintz has a combined 40 points in 31 games thus far in the playoffs. Their ceiling as a line is higher than that of any combination the Kraken could put together. Seattle’s depth and relentlessness have gotten them this far, but if any combination of that Stars top line gets in a groove, the Kraken will be in trouble. For any offense that the Stars can muster up, Joe Pavelski has a great chance to be right in the thick of it as he has been every game so far.

Jordan Eberle over 0.5 points (+100)
Similar to Pavelski, Jordan Eberle is a grizzled veteran that continues to be reliable for his team. This season marked his 8th career 20-goal season as he played in all 82 games. He has 6 goals and 11 points in these playoffs. The majority of those goals and points have come in this series. The Kraken are a very good, balanced team with plenty of depth. They divide and conquer arguably better than any team remaining, but for all intents and purposes, Jordan Eberle is an important factor to them reaching Game 7. In the 6 games in this series, Eberle has 5 goals and 8 points for 1.33 points per game against a very defensively sound Stars team. If he were to go pointless tonight, it would be the outlier for Eberle personally in this series.
Although at this point it should not be a surprise, the Kraken continue to surprise. They were not expected to hang with Colorado and obviously got the job done there. Then facing elimination against a Dallas team that continues to look good, Seattle punched back again to force another Game 7. Regardless of the outcome of this one, it looks like there is a good chance this will be a high-scoring game. If Games 1-6 were any indication, goal scoring will be a more prominent theme than goal prevention. The average game total of this series is a whopping 8.17. If neither teams stray from averages, this will be another high-scoring game and Eberle has as good of a chance as anyone on Seattle to be involved.
