Although there are just 2 games on Wednesday night, there is loads of star power. Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, William Nylander, John Tavares and Jack Eichel are among the big names suiting up tonight. Some have shone in the big games, while others have gone missing so far. With the Maple Leafs looking to extend their season and the Oilers looking to even up their series, there should be plenty of urgency on offense tonight.

William Nylander anytime goalscorer (+145)
William Nylander is among the Maple Leafs’ star players who have yet to make an impression in this series. If it is any consolation, he has arguably looked the best of those players. He had 7 shots on goal in Game 1, 6 more in Game 2 and an assist and +1 rating in Game 3. He is at least making a clear effort, which is more than could be said for some of his teammates. The Maple Leafs are due with Nylander arguably being the most overdue. He has 8 points in 9 games in these playoffs, but it was frontloaded with 7 points in the first 4 games. Toronto has to play with the most urgency it has all season long. If the Leafs can generate their usual level of offense, Nylander should be right in the mix.
The Maple Leafs and Panthers played head-to-head in 4 games during the regular season and Nylander had 3 goals and 2 assists for 5 points. The Panthers have been a good matchup overall for Nylander considering he had over a point per game in the regular season and has at least drummed up a little bit of offense in the playoffs. It takes more than him, though. The Leafs will give a huge push in Game 4 and when they are on the same page, good things happen. Nylander’s 42 goals and 95 points in 91 games between the regular season and playoffs indicate this +145 for him to be included in that scoring is good value.

Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 points (-125)
Game 3 was one to forget for the Oilers. It was also an outlier considering Leon Draisaitl was held pointless for the first time in these playoffs. Draisaitl has been a man possessed. His crazy run this postseason may not have seemed sustainable, but neither does any team containing him. Draisaitl leads the playoffs in goals with 13 and points with 17. At an average of nearly 2 points per game, it seems all but a formality that he will get back on the scoresheet with a few points in a game that could equalize the series for the Oilers. Edmonton has a lot to clean up from Game 3. This team goes as McDavid and Draisaitl go and they can come out buzzing to lead the way to a win.
One of the teams has scored 5+ goals in each of the 3 games in this series. Although it has been the Golden Knights twice, the Oilers have still scored 10 goals in 3 games. It is not like Edmonton has just gone quiet. If there is anyone who can and likely will bounce back after going pointless, it is Draisaitl. The Oilers would like to avoid going down 3-1 in the series for obvious reasons and their stars will do their best to make sure that does not happen. When those guys play with a chip on their shoulder, it’s extremely difficult for the opposition to contain them. In a big game, they will get plenty of ice time and make a big offensive push.
