The Game 4s from Sunday saw the Bruins and Hurricanes take a stranglehold on their respective series, but the Western Conference matchups are deadlocked at 2-2. With all the star power across these 8 teams, Tuesday night is going to bring more fantastic entertainment in the NHL. Some star players have been unusually quiet, and some have lived up to their reputations. There is some good value on the board for players that fall into each of those categories. If you are looking to have some action yourself, here are our favorite NHL player prop bets for Tuesday’s schedule. You can also check out our NHL picks for each of today’s games.

Kirill Kaprizov over 0.5 goals (+135)

Kirill Kaprizov has been uncharacteristically quiet through the 4 games of this opening-round series. It feels like it is only a matter of time before he bursts out for a big game. Kaprizov had 40 goals and 75 points in 67 games played this season. He also had 17 power-play goals and averaged 3.89 shots on goal per game. This is nothing new as Kaprizov had 47 goals and 108 points in the 2021-2022 season before notching 7 goals in 6 games in the postseason. He did everything he could to will the Wild last year in the playoffs but just had no help. Kirill Kaprizov is a proven superstar that is due for a breakout after having just 1 goal through 4 games against the Stars. These +135 odds are great value for a player who has averaged 43.5 goals per season over the last 2 years.

Kaprizov’s linemates Ryan Hartman and Mats Zuccarello have been lugging the mail for the Wild over halfway through this series. Those guys are playing well while the Stars are focused on neutralizing Kaprizov. Now that the Stars know they need more coverage on other Wild players, it may free up Kaprizov to find more lanes and get high-quality chances. He is not a player that needs much space to make something happen. Kaprizov and his linemates will turn things up even more as the stakes get higher and higher with each game. They are playing well and it is only a matter of time before Kirill the Thrill joins in on the production.

Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 points (-115)

Leon Draisaitl has been huge for the Oilers in this postseason. He has 5 goals and 4 assists in the notched-up 2-2 series against the Kings. With respect to several Oilers players, notably #97, Draisaitl is arguably the main reason Edmonton is in this series. He had a ridiculous 128 points in 80 regular-season games and now has 68 points in 41 career playoff games. The guy is just a horse and continues to come through. Until he slows down even a little bit, Draisaitl continues to get the job done for the Oilers, as well as cashing his props. The Oilers return home after narrowly escaping with a win. They know they were just a bounce or 2 away from being down 3-1 in the series. Draisaitl and the Oilers will come out buzzing with home-ice advantage and look to take the series lead.

A Leon Draisaitl on a mission is even scarier than a regular Leon Draisaitl. It doesn’t exactly hurt that his left winger is fellow 100+ point scorer Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and that Draisaitl is also regularly on the ice with Connor McDavid, Zach Hyman, Darnell Nurse and Mattias Eckholm among other strong teammates. The Kings are playing stellar defensively but it still has not been enough to neutralize Leon Draisaitl. Los Angeles does not have an answer for him. If they come up with one, it would likely be to the detriment of not containing McDavid which they cannot afford to do. Unless trends change even a little bit, Draisaitl is still as reliable as they come.
