We’re down to the last couple of days before the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are set. We have just 3 games tonight, which can make it difficult to find sides or totals you like. Instead, we can target the player prop market, but it takes even more analysis at this point in the season. For example, the Calgary Flames’ skaters were on our radar. However, their loss on Monday night eliminated them from the postseason and this is their final game. Rather than risking how they’ll handle using their skaters, we’re targeting a spot where we have a milestone in reach.
Along with our player props, be sure to check out all of our NHL picks for today’s action.

Jason Robertson over 0.5 goals (+120)
The Dallas Stars received some welcome relief last night without even being on the ice. The Minnesota Wild’s loss allowed them to clinch home ice in their first-round series against them if they’re unable to surpass the Colorado Avalanche in their division. They’ll be facing the St. Louis Blues tonight, and we’ll explain why we still expect a big night from Jason Robertson. Firstly, the Blues actually looked better when they had rookie goaltender Joel Hofer in net, but they’ve since put Jordan Binnington between the pipes since he became healthy. It’s quite puzzling given the silly things he does more often than not, but we can use that to our advantage.
We got to see veteran Joe Pavelski record his 1,000th point in Dallas’ 6-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Monday, but Robertson is the focal point of this Stars squad. His 106 points are 30 more than anyone else on the team, and his 46 goals are also the most. There are only 2 games remaining for Dallas, but a 50-goal season is certainly not out of the question. Robertson needed just 2 shots on goal to find the net on Monday night, but his 306 shots are also 103 more than anyone else on the team and the 9th-most in the NHL. Finally, Robertson has recorded a goal in each of his 3 games against the Blues. We’d recommend double-checking that Binnington is in net, but we’ll trust the 23-year-old to inch closer to that 50-goal achievement.
