Tuesday is the third-to-final night of the NHL’s 2023-24 regular season. Tonight’s slate has a massive impact for a few teams as the final playoff spot remaining could be claimed. In addition to the games with postseason impact, there is also a heavyweight matchup between the Maple Leafs and Panthers, as well as a solid division rivalry game between the Flames and Canucks. This is a night of hockey you will not want to miss. Let’s get into my 3-leg NHL parlay for today’s action, and you can also find out our experts’ NHL predictions for tonight’s big matchups.
Capitals ML (+114)
Maple Leafs vs Panthers Over 6.5 (+102)
Canucks -1.5 (+120)
NHL parlay odds: +851
Washington Capitals ML over Philadelphia Flyers (+114)
The Capitals are in the driver’s seat for locking in the 16th and final playoff spot still up for grabs. All they need is a win, or at the very least collect a point in a situation where the Red Wings lose. This Capitals team would rather not let another team hold their outcome. For Washington, it is simple. Win and they’re in. The Flyers will not make it easy on the Capitals. But Washington has had a nice week, having won 3 of their last 4 games against good teams. The Capitals shut out a very good Bruins team on Monday by a score of 2-0. They are in good form and can taste a playoff spot. They should come out buzzing.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Florida Panthers Over 6.5 (+102)
This should be one heck of an appetizer to what will be a 7-game series between these teams in the first round. With both wanting to set the tone before they meet in the playoffs next week, look for each team’s best effort. With best efforts could come a lot of offense.
The Maple Leafs and Panthers met earlier in April in a game that Toronto won 6-4. Since then, the Maple Leafs are 3-2-1 with an average game total of 7.17. Including the game against Florida, that average is 7.57 total goals per game. Lately, whether Toronto wins or loses, their totals have been climbing. The pure matchup on Tuesday looks good to continue those trends.
Vancouver Canucks -1.5 over Calgary Flames (+120)
Things have not been great for the Canucks in the last 2 months of the season. Recently, they have traded wins and losses game over game for their past 7 games. That is part of a current 15-11-4 run for the Canucks. That is not brutal, but it will not get the job done in the playoffs.
Recent inconsistency is something the Canucks will want to change quickly. They want to enter the playoffs on a high note and build on it with a run. With that, they are already the better team in this game and should also play with a bit more urgency. In Calgary’s last 5 games against teams above .500, they have 1 win. Vancouver should be able to take care of business with authority tonight.
