I've been a capper since my love for sports met my proficiency with numbers and math. The NFL and NCAAF have always been my first loves, followed by the NHL. Although I prefer sports that involve hitting people, I still love capping MLB, soccer, tennis, and even some esports. Living in Florida has its perks like year-round sports of any kind. Believe it or not, we’re already working through our first week of March, which means the Stanley Cup playoffs will be here before we know it. That makes each matchup as the nights go by more important, and we have 9 to enjoy tonight. While that may seem like a lot to break down, we’ve done that for you and found the most valuable spots to target. We’ve pieced those together for our best NHL parlay picks for today for an incredible payout.

Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

Penguins -1.5 (+110)

Predators -1.5 (+120)

Canucks 3-way ML (+110)

Parlay odds +1037

Pittsburgh Penguins -1.5 (+110) over Columbus Blue Jackets

Tonight features several teams on the 2nd night of a back-to-back, and we’re going to get our NHL parlay picks started by taking advantage of one of those spots. That would be with the Columbus Blue Jackets, who are already among the worst teams in the NHL. After hosting the defending Stanley Cup-champion Vegas Golden Knights just last night, they’re now in Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins.

The Pens’ recent west coast and Canadian road trip certainly didn’t go as well as they’d have hoped, but a home game against the Jackets is exactly what they need to get back on track. Columbus allows the 2nd-most goals per game, and Pittsburgh took advantage of that when these teams met earlier this season, winning by multiple goals. They certainly have work to do when it comes to making the postseason, but that also provides them with far more motivation for this game. Whether the playoffs are in their future or not, we’re still trusting them to get the job done tonight.

Nashville Predators -1.5 (+120) over Montreal Canadiens

We’ve got another team on home ice in our NHL parlay picks for today, and while they aren’t playing a team on a back-to-back, there is no team hotter in the league than the Nashville Predators. After the playoffs looked bleak for them, they have rattled off 8 straight wins, and have been dominant in the process. Now, they get to host a Montreal Canadiens team that is just 2-6-2 in their last 10 games and firmly out of the playoff race.

This type of streak for Nashville can’t last forever, but the Habs simply aren’t the team that should ruin it. After all, we’ve already seen the Edmonton Oilers win 17 straight, so making it 9 straight tonight is far from out of the question. The Preds have an elite goaltender in Juuse Saros, while Montreal scores the 6th-fewest goals per game. Similarly, they allow the 6th-most, so they’re quite weak on both ends of the ice. It’s the first meeting between these teams this year, but we’re going to ride the hot hand in Nashville.

Vancouver Canucks 3-way ML (+150) over Los Angeles Kings

Before diving into the last of our NHL parlay picks, you could play it a bit safer with the regular money line and still get things at about +810 odds. Regardless, we’re going to be backing the best team in the Western Conference – the Vancouver Canucks. They’ve been the surprise story of the NHL this year and will be looking to build their lead over the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division. The Kings are even further down the standings and are fighting for a playoff spot in general.

Admittedly, they’ve been hot recently, but the Canucks high-powered offense is something we don’t like to doubt. They just played down to their competition with a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks, but this revenge game for them should wake them up. Vancouver recently lost to the Kings, but interestingly enough, LA is a team that is better on the road than at home. The Kings are barely above .500 at home, and the Canucks are 19-11-4 on the road. This should be one of the best matchups of the night, but we’re taking the Canucks to extend their division lead.
