Tuesday night in the NHL brings a fantastic 11-game slate. There are 4 games in which both teams are at or above .500. The other matchups still have plenty of intrigue and some solid value on the board for those looking to have some action. What has been a solid first month of the NHL season should only get better tonight. With plenty of games to attack, I’ve crafted a 3-leg NHL parlay at +938 odds to hopefully add an extra boost to the action. Let’s dive in, while you can also find out our NHL predictions on the side and total for today.

Bruins vs Maple Leafs Over 6 (+100)

Boston Bruins vs Toronto Maple Leafs Over 6 (+100)

Although the Bruins have dominated the Maple Leafs for years now, the games always seem to be close and entertaining. Their first head-to-head matchup this season brought more of the same. Boston won 4-3 in a game that featured 8 penalties and 57 total shots on goal. In a game with a ton of high-end talent between a couple of teams trying to find consistency, the Over has appeal.

Boston has dropped 5 of their last 8 games and Toronto has dropped 5 of their last 7. Both teams have also scored and allowed goals in bunches. Those respective stretches include the head-to-head matchup which went over the total. Boston would love to get above .500 and Toronto would love to exorcize some demons. Look for both teams to make a heavy offensive push and hit another game total over.

Carolina Hurricanes -1.5 over Philadelphia Flyers (-110)

The Flyers have enjoyed a nice week, but they have their work cut out for them in this one. Philadelphia is 4-7-1 on the year and is 4-8 against the spread. Even given a few good recent games, their start to the season is far from reliable to take a chance on their markets against the Hurricanes. Carolina is rolling coming into this game. They have won 6 straight games and 8 of their last 9.

The Hurricanes are 7-3 against the spread this season, including 3-1 at home. Their goal differential of +16 is good for 4th in the NHL as they rank 5th in the NHL in goals scored per game and 2nd in goals allowed per game. They also rank 7 in both power play and penalty kill. The Hurricanes have not remotely had an easy schedule. They are just dominating opponents so far this season. Carolina is a team to ride right now.

Winnipeg Jets ML over Utah Hockey Club & Over 6 (+172)

The Jets are an NHL-best 11-1-0 so far this season, which is 3 points clear of the next best team which has also played one more game than Winnipeg. Their +29 goal differential is the best in the NHL by 9 goals. Winnipeg also leads the NHL in goals scored per game and power play, while ranking 5th in goals allowed per game. Utah has dropped 7 out of their last 9 and is a comfortable fade in this Same Game Parlay.

To supplement a Jets win, the Over brings nice value here. The over is 8-3-1 in Jets games this year, including 4-2 at home. Their offensive prowess combined with Utah’s 26th-ranked goal prevention bodes well for more offensive production on the Winnipeg side. That may force Utah to have to take some chances offensively to stay in the game. The Over also looks good in this one.
