Thursdays are huge days in the NHL with matchups littered across ESPN+, and tonight has some exceptionally great games. We have a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals with the Panthers taking on the Hurricanes, a rematch of the one two years ago with the Rangers visiting the Lightning, plus much more. With so many great contests on the horizon, we’ve shared our best NHL parlay picks for today. Along with today’s NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!
NHL Parlay Picks (3/14)
Bruins -1.5 (+105)
Red Wings -1.5 (+135)
Kraken -1.5 (+140)
NHL parlay odds: +1056
Boston Bruins -1.5 over Montreal Canadiens (+105)
The first leg of our NHL parlay picks is focused on a team that burned us the last time they took the ice for us to just fall short of a +1060 mega parlay. Even still, we’re willing to trust the Boston Bruins against the Montreal Canadiens, who have the 3rd-fewest points in the entire Eastern Conference. They’re likely feeling a bit cocky after a 3-0 win the other night, but that came against the Columbus Blue Jackets, the absolute worst team in the Eastern Conference.
The Bruins may have lost their lead in the Atlantic Division to the Florida Panthers, but they are still among the best teams in the NHL. Let’s not forget that they won back-to-back games 4-1 and 5-1 prior to their recent loss, and Montreal is simply an inferior team. They were even sellers at the trade deadline to further prove that they are still rebuilding. Boston won the past two meetings between these teams 9-4 and 5-2, so a multi-goal win by the Bruins is how we’re starting our NHL parlay picks.
Detroit Red Wings -1.5 over Arizona Coyotes (+135)
Another Atlantic Division team is involved in our NHL parlay picks — the Detroit Red Wings. With their sights on the playoffs, things quickly fell off the rails after the Dylan Larkin injury. However, tonight presents a great opportunity to get back on track against the Arizona Coyotes. That may be surprising to hear given that they were just in the desert not long ago and lost the matchup, but they’re finally back in the Motor City after their 4-game road trip.
We know that this one may be a tough sell, but Detroit is still the superior team with Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat reunited, and the Coyotes have allowed 11 goals across their last 2 games. The most concerning were the 7 goals allowed to the Chicago Blackhawks, who have the 2nd-fewest points in the entire NHL with an 18-43-5 record. If the ‘Hawks can do that to Arizona, so can Detroit when on home ice.
Seattle Kraken -1.5 over Washington Capitals (+140)
The final leg of our NHL parlay picks for today is picking on a team that we took advantage of 2 nights ago. We had the Winnipeg Jets smashing the Washington Capitals, which they did in shutout fashion. Now, we’re targeting the Seattle Kraken to do the same. If there was one of our NHL parlay picks that we’d suggest considering the 3-way money line for a slightly lesser payout, it’s this one.
Regardless, Seattle can still win this game by multiple goals with the Caps coming into town, having just played Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers last night. Their Canadian road trip even has 2 more games remaining, so they are likely dragging at this point. Washington also traded Evgeny Kuznetsov at the deadline, making it clear that they have no intentions of making a playoff run. On the flip side, the Kraken are doing exactly that to expand upon a great season last year, so that’s how we’re wrapping up our NHL parlay picks for today.
