With a few fringe teams suited up, tonight will only add to the season’s 2nd-half drama. Along with our NHL mega parlay, make sure you read our NHL predictions for today’s action!

NHL Parlay Picks (2/8)

Canucks vs Bruins Under 6 (-110)

Avalanche ML (+114)

Golden Knights -1.5 (+170)

NHL parlay odds: +1003

Vancouver Canucks vs Boston Bruins Under 6 (-110)

This looks to be one of the best, if not the best matchup of the night. The Canucks sit atop the Western Conference and the Bruins sit atop the Eastern Conference. In a game between very good teams, the margin of error is usually very thin. Games like that typically bode better for the under.

The under has hit in 4 of Boston’s last 5 games, as well as in 4 of the last 6 played head-to-head. While both teams excel in goalscoring, they also excel in goal prevention. The Canucks and Bruins rank 2nd and 4th respectively in the NHL in goals allowed per game. Pure matchup, recent trends and potential game script look good for the under.

Colorado Avalanche ML over Carolina Hurricanes (+114)

This is another great matchup between 2 very good teams in very good form. The Avalanche won the first matchup against the Hurricanes this season 6-4. Although Carolina is in a good stretch, Colorado is the more reliable play. The Avalanche have been more consistent over the long haul this season and enter this game as winners of 11 of their last 16 games.

The Avalanche have dropped their first 2 games back from the all-star break, one of which went beyond regulation, and will be hungry to get back in the win column. Colorado also possesses arguably the best, most dominant player on the planet right now. Look for Nathan MacKinnon to will his team to another win tonight.

Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 over Arizona Coyotes (+170)

Arizona has dropped 5 of their last 7 games and 9 of their last 13. They have a -15 goal differential over that span. It would be an uphill battle for the Coyotes regardless of their opponent, let alone a good team like the Golden Knights.

It has not been great for the Golden Knights for stretches of this season either. But they are the deeper, better team and are in better form right now. Vegas has bounced back from a tough stretch with a current 6-1-1 run which has them 2nd in the Pacific and 4th in the West. They have won 12 of the last 17 played against Arizona and have a good chance to run up the score again tonight.
