Along with our NHL mega parlay, make sure you read our NHL predictions for today’s action.
Flyers ML (+140)
Red Wings -1.5 (+136)
Rangers -1.5 (+120)
NHL parlay odds: +1146
Flyers ML (+140)
The Flyers are in a playoff spot with less than 30 games remaining in the season while the Penguins cannot get out of their own way. The sheer position of each team in the standings reflects enough of a reason this +140 is very good value. The Penguins are not a reliable play right now regardless of their opponent, let alone one in a playoff spot.
This is a bit of a get right spot for the Flyers. They have dropped 3 out of their last 4 games which is not all bad considering 2 of those games were 1-goal losses, one beyond regulation, to fellow playoff contending teams. Nonetheless, they are the better team in better form that will be looking to get back in the win column.
Red Wings -1.5 (+136)
The Red Wings are buzzing right now and it does not look like anything the Blackhawks will do about it. Detroit has won 4 games in a by a combined 12 goals. That is an average win by 3 goals per game over that span. All 4 opponents in their current win streak are either in a playoff spot or contending for one. Detroit looks very good right now.
Meanwhile, the Blackhawks have 1 win in their last 12 games played overall and 1 win in their last 6 played at home. They are at the bottom of the league standings with no sign of life with under a third of the season remaining to play. Detroit should take care of business in this one.
Rangers -1.5 (+120)
The Rangers are arguably the hottest team in hockey right now depending on how far back to go. They have won 10 straight games with 6 of those wins being by 2+ goals. They have also won 5 straight road games and 4 out of the last 5 played head to head against the Blue Jackets.
The Blue Jackets have 5 wins in their last 16 games and 1 win in their last 7 played at home. They are the 29th ranked team out of 32 teams in the league and are missing a couple of their most impactful players. This is not a very good team and they are not in great form which is the polar opposite as the Rangers. New York should roll in this one.
