I've been a capper since my love for sports met my proficiency with numbers and math. The NFL and NCAAF have always been my first loves, followed by the NHL. Although I prefer sports that involve hitting people, I still love capping MLB, soccer, tennis, and even some esports. Living in Florida has its perks like year-round sports of any kind. It’s a Saturday during the NHL season, which means one thing: non-stop action on the ice. Thursday night brought one of the most exciting slates of games, and now we have 15 matchups all throughout the day today. That’s nearly the entire league in action, so there’s never been a better time to piece together our favorite NHL parlay picks. We aren’t wasting any time, as our first pick is focused on one of the afternoon games, so let’s dive straight in.

Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL predictions for today’s action!

NHL Mega Parlay Picks (11/4)

Capitals -1.5 (+170)

Wild ML (-110)

Winnipeg Jets 3-way ML (+120) over Arizona Coyotes

The second puck drop of the day takes place in Arizona, which is a city that was close to not willing to support its team with an arena. That speaks volumes in itself, and correlates perfectly to how poorly the Coyotes franchise has been viewed by fans across the NHL. So, while they may be at home, that’s about the only thing they have going for them today. They’re hosting the Winnipeg Jets, who are looking to make it back to the Stanley Cup playoffs, led by an incredible goaltender in Connor Hellebuyck.

Through this first portion of the season, he’s an early favorite to win the Vezina Trophy for the league’s best goalie, and rightfully so. Last year was the first time in 5 seasons that he didn’t lead the league in saves, but he should be able to pad his stats against Arizona today. The Coyotes have picked up right where they left off last year, as they’re scoring the 6th-fewest goals per game. Therefore, it’s no surprise to find out that Winnipeg defeated Arizona in all 3 meetings last year. I don’t expect them to need overtime to make it 4 in a row, so their 3-way money line is the first of my NHL parlay picks.

Washington Capitals -1.5 (+170) over Columbus Blue Jackets

Shortly following the Jets vs Coyotes game is a matchup featuring two Metro Division teams who could certainly use a win. There is a strong argument to be made that the Blue Jackets were right alongside the Coyotes for the worst team in the NHL last year, so Columbus is likely riding high after a recent win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. However, the Lightning are without goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy to start the year and prior to that win, the Jackets had lost 4 straight. That included a home loss to the Anaheim Ducks and a home shutout loss 2 games after that.

While the Caps have work to do themselves, this is a prime opportunity for them to get back in the win column on home ice. Like Arizona, Columbus has picked up right where it left off last season, this time in regard to goaltending. The Blue Jackets are already allowing the 2nd-most goals per game, which is always great news for an elite goalscorer such as Alex Ovechkin. The only time Washington lost to the Jackets last year was when they had Charlie Lindgren in net, so with Darcy Kuemper set to be between the pipes tonight, I’ll back the Caps on the puck line.

Minnesota Wild ML (-110) over New York Rangers

Wrapping things up is a matchup in Minnesota, which has historically been great for the Wild. There’s no denying that they are performing below expectations, and it’s also worth noting that the Rangers have been excellent so far. Despite that, I’m willing to take the great value on the money line with the Wild at home against a fatigued New York squad. The Rangers were just in Seattle and Canada for 5 straight games before finally getting to return home. They were able to get another win in Madison Square Garden, but now they immediately have to leave town again for Minnesota.

I’m willing to trust Kirill Kaprizov and the Wild can look more like the home team they were last season where they finished with the 7th-best record in the NHL. Let’s not forget that the Wild began the year completely shutting out the Florida Panthers and soon after scoring 7 goals against the Edmonton Oilers. Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin is unlikely to allow that type of offensive output, but Minnesota netminder Filip Gustavsson can do enough to slow down New York’s offense for the Wild to grab the win.
