This week in the NHL is capped by a sizable 8-game slate on Sunday beginning at 1:00 pm ET. This has been a busy weekend of hockey with 28 games since Thursday night entering Sunday. There has been no shortage of entertaining matchups, highlight reel plays, narratives and a few surprises. Several teams are still trying to find their identity while others know exactly what kind of good or bad team they are. Regardless of your favorite team, this is a great time of year in the NHL; Sunday will reinforce that.
I have created a 3-game NHL mega parlay for tonight’s action at +835 odds, which you can read below. You can also check out our NHL predictions for picks on today’s games.
Devils ML (+130)
Jets -1.5 (+130)
Golden Knights -1.5 (-130)
NHL parlay odds: +835
Devils ML over Oilers (+130)
This will be a great game that truly could go either way. What gives New Jersey appeal is the +130 value, as well as the more consistent play overall this season. The Oilers are playing great hockey lately — but so, too, are the Devils.
The Devils have won 6 out of their last 7 games with that loss being somewhat flukey. They are 14-10-1 in a very difficult division and conference while the Oilers are 11-12-1 thanks to a recent hot streak. New Jersey has been better this season with a more difficult strength of schedule. This +130 is great value for a good team in good form.
Jets -1.5 over Ducks (+130)
The Ducks have come crashing back down to earth after a fantastic start to the season. Some in the media called it overachieving and they look to have been proven correct. Since November 7, Anaheim is 3-12-0. That includes a current run of 10 losses in its last 11 games and 5 losses in its last 6 at home.
The Jets, meanwhile, have won 11 out of their last 15 games and 5 out of their last 6 on the road. Winnipeg has hung in there with the class of the Western Conference and is just 2 points out with a game in hand for the Central Division lead. This is a plain lopsided matchup and this +130 price is great value — even for the puck line.
Golden Knights -1.5 over Sharks (-130)
This is another very lopsided matchup no matter how you slice it. Put very plainly, the Golden Knights are very good and the Sharks are not. Granted, San Jose has played solid hockey over the past 2 weeks. Even that being the case, Vegas by odds is more likely to win by 2+ goals than not. The Golden Knights are that good.
These teams have met twice this season in games which were both won convincingly by the Golden Knights. Vegas has won by scores of 4-1 on the road and 5-0 at home. The Sharks score the fewest goals per game in hockey and the Golden Knights allow the second fewest. There’s need to overthink this one.
