Ottawa Senators -1.5 (+170)

Colorado Avalanche -1.5 (-105)

Los Angeles Kings -1.5 (+100)

NHL mega parlay odds: +954

Ottawa Senators -1.5 (+170)

The Senators and Flames have both been underwhelming in the first month of the NHL season. There arguably were more preseason expectations for the Senators and things have been ever so slightly better for them than the Flames. Calgary is 4-7-1, which is the 3rd-worst point percentage in the Western Conference.

Offensive production looks to be the differentiator in favor of the Senators in this game. Ottawa scores the 3rd-most goals per game in the NHL, which is a favorable matchup against Calgary’s 8th-worst goal prevention. Sure, the Senators’ 27th-ranked goal prevention is not great, but that is neutralized by Calgary’s 25th-ranked goalscoring. The Senators look to be the better team and have a good chance to run up the score at favorable odds.

Colorado Avalanche -1.5 (-105)

The Avalanche are clearly the better team in their matchup with the Blues. A lot of things will need to go well for the Blues if they are going to win. Otherwise, if these teams play to their averages, the Avalanche should be able to take care of business just fine.

The Blues and Avalanche have already met once this season in a game which Colorado comfortably won 4-1. That was the Avalanche’s 12th win in the last 17 head-to-head games against the Blues over the last couple of seasons. The Avalanche have the Blues’ number and are overall the deeper, better team.

Los Angeles Kings -1.5 (+100)

Getting even the puck line at plus odds is great value for the Kings against the Flyers. The Kings are 8-2-3 and just beat a great Golden Knights team 4-1 on Wednesday. Before that, they beat the Maple Leafs 4-1, the Senators 3-2, and this same Flyers team 5-0.

The Kings have already proved to be a tough matchup for the Flyers and unless they completely mail it in today, Los Angeles should be able to take care of Philadelphia just fine. The Kings score the 2nd-most goals per game in the NHL and allow the 7th-fewest. The Flyers do not have much going for them and are not in great form as they are 3-6-1 in their last 10. This one should be all Kings.
