We’re creeping closer to the midway point of the NFL season, and with plenty of data and samples to work with, the books are getting sharper with NFL player prop lines. But at the same time, I’m feeling more confident in my plays! For those that don’t know me, my name is Joshua Gayle, or better known as ThatGuyBets. I have been betting on NFL, NBA and MLB player props on Twitter/X since December 2020, and have my best NFL player prop bets for the Week 8 Sunday slate below, where I’m targeting Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Buccaneers running back Rachaad White. On top of that, you can also find out the Pickswise team’s NFL picks on the side and total for every game in Week 8 and throughout the entire season.

Josh Allen (BUF) under 32.5 pass attempts (-117)

Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.

This is one NFL player prop bet that likely won’t be popular, but hear me out. Buffalo just acquired Amari Cooper and the public will want Josh Allen to let it fly to his new target. I really think Buffalo should have success running the ball and won’t need need to pass the ball much. I expect this game against the Seahawks to remain close, but Buffalo should keep it on the ground with James Cook and Ray Davis. Seattle has allowed the 2nd-most rushing yards to running backs in the league. Allen has gone under on pass attempts in 6 of 7 games and this matchup should feature some rainy conditions that could keep teams from wanting to throw much.

Rachaad White (TB) under 12.5 rush attempts (-115)

Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing.

This is an easy under here. I liked the under on 11.5 attempts I saw on DraftKings and love that we’re able to get an even higher number with Fanatics Sportsbook. White is under in 5 of 6 games, with his last 5 games all seeing 10 rushes or less. Tampa Bay is now going with the “hot hand” approach, which means that we will see plenty of Sean Tucker potentially. Tampa did lose both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, so the Bucs may be inclined to run the ball more, but they are underdogs for this game against the Falcons and could be forced to air it out if they want to keep up with Kirk Cousins and Atlanta. When they played the Falcons 3 weeks ago we saw Irving with only 10 handoffs and he only shared snaps with 1 running back. On Sunday, White will have the same role with Irving out. I have White at 10 rushes so we’re getting some good value here.
